Please note if your database name is concatenated with your hosting user name. You have to insert this complete name while you installing prestashop in your web hosting. The syntax is username_databasename.

#3 Manage MySql Database User

#4 Create Mysql Database User

Result Add Mysql Database User

Result Add Mysql Database User

After you have created new mysql database, you have to provide an mysql user to access this database. Please note again if your mysql username is concatenated again with your hosting username, but the user password is same as you typed in password field. In last step you have to grant all access by this user to all functionality in mysql database.

#5 Grant All Mysql Function to MySql User

Grant Permission to Mysql Database User

Result Grant Permission to Mysql Database User

Result Grant Permission to Mysql Database User

If you miss this last step while you’re configuring you database, you will get this error message from prestashop installation wizard because system can connect to database server but has no access to database, so its say if database if not found although you have created it.
